What this site is

Connecticut Window Installation Service Guide lists 44 window installation companies working across Connecticut, from small replacement-window crews to larger full-service contractors. It’s built for homeowners trying to figure out which local installer is actually worth calling, without wading through a dozen browser tabs of scattered reviews and half-updated business pages.

We also generate enquiries for local providers: when you ask to be matched, we pass your enquiry to a provider or providers relevant to your request, and we may receive a referral fee for that introduction. That arrangement is disclosed again on the quote page, and it never touches how a business is scored or ranked.

Where the listing data comes from

Every profile on this site starts with public business data: address, licensing details where available, service area, years active, and similar facts. We then read through recent Google reviews for that business and summarize the patterns we see (response time, cleanup, workmanship, pricing honesty, and so on). We don’t copy or republish the review text itself. If you want the original source, each listing links out to the business’s Google profile so you can read reviews firsthand.

How rankings are earned

Rankings come from a published rubric, laid out in full on our /methodology/ page, that scores each business on review sentiment, star rating, review volume, and how complete their listing is. There’s also a statistical adjustment built in so a brand-new business with a handful of glowing reviews can’t leapfrog an established company with a long, consistent track record. The scoring engine runs on data alone. It has no visibility into which businesses, if any, work with us on the lead side, so referral relationships can’t quietly nudge a ranking up or down.

A listed business can request corrections to its own facts (a wrong phone number, an outdated address, a service it no longer offers), and we’ll update that. What a business cannot do is edit its own score, sentiment summary, or position in the ranking. That stays independent of the business being ranked.

Some pages may include a sponsored slot. It’s always labeled “Sponsored,” shown apart from the earned ranking, and paying for it doesn’t move a business up the ranked list or change its score. Sponsorship and ranking are two separate systems that never talk to each other.

Who runs this

This directory is published by True Level Media, founded in 2026, which runs independent trade directories across home services industries, including window installation coverage in Connecticut. Editorial oversight, including the scoring rubric and how it’s applied, is maintained by Dana Whitfield, Editor. Listings are re-checked on a monthly cycle: closed businesses come down, and each profile carries a “last verified” date so you can see it’s actively maintained rather than left to go stale.

Questions about a listing, a correction request, or the ranking process can go to hello@truelevelmedia.com, or you can read more about the publisher at https://truelevelmedia.com.

Keeping it current

Data across all 44 Connecticut listings refreshes monthly. That includes pulling updated review signals, checking whether a business is still operating, and confirming basic facts haven’t changed. If a business closes, relocates outside the service area, or stops responding to license checks, it’s flagged and removed rather than left sitting in the rankings.

FAQ

Can a business pay to change its ranking?
No. Sponsored slots are labeled separately and never affect the earned score or position in the ranked list.
Does this site republish Google review text?
No. We synthesize patterns from recent reviews and link out to each business's Google profile so you can read the original reviews yourself.
Can a listed business fix wrong information about itself?
Yes, factual details like address or phone number can be corrected on request, but the business cannot edit its own score, sentiment summary, or ranking.
How often is the directory updated?
Listings are re-checked monthly, and each profile shows a last verified date so you can see when it was last confirmed.
